In the early 1850s, across the vast plains of Central Asia, a family set out on a long and uncertain journey. Amid wars and hardship, we left our homeland behind -carrying with us only what truly mattered: our ancestral sourdough starter and the beeswax wraps that protected it.
Along the endless road, through storms and hunger, we discovered a quiet secret within those little wraps — our bread stayed fresh for days, never molding, never losing its warmth. Each slice became a symbol of home, hope, and the strength to endure.That’s when we understood: these wraps were more than fabric; they were a gift ofsurvival, wisdom, and connection to nature.
Years later, our journey brought us to the lush green foothills of Giresun, a small coastal town on the Black Sea.
Here, surrounded by the abundance of nature, that ancient knowledge took root once more. With the delicacy of linen and the purity of natural beeswax, we gave life to a timeless
tradition — one that preserved not only bread but a way of living in harmony with the earth. Today, as the descendants of Sultan Ana, we carry her legacy forward. Mumywrap is not just a product; it’s a story — of resilience, care, and the beauty of
